XLIGHT LINE

To meet the need to create a weapon that was light but maintained the same robustness characteristics of all shotguns, F.A.I.R. has studied the Light Version line characterized by much lighter weights than the classic shotguns.

The light weight of these Light version models is due to the use of an aluminum used in aeronautics to create the action body: the ERGAL 55.

The ERGAL 55 creates an equilibrium and weight balance equal to the other models, in addition to this, this type of aluminum gives the shotgun a lightness and a rapidity of swing such as to be able to use the shotgun without any problem during stray hunting where you cover several kilometers on foot.
On these occasions, lightness becomes an indispensable requirement of the weapon to be transported as well as handling when shooting.
A light shotgun, however, should not suggest a not very resistant weapon because these over-and-under guns, like all F.A.I.R shotguns in ERGAL, have an internal steel reinforcement plate near the firing pins.

Within the entire F.A.I.R line we find different models created using these materials, a special dedicated line has also been created. The XLIGHT family consists of 4 different models, those models are manufactured in 12 and 20 gauges with 2 different dedicated action frames: The action frame is nickel-plated and finely laser engraved with game items in gold and the barrels are available in 71, 68 and 76 cm for different types of hunting.

• XLIGHT^® PRESTIGE with selective ejectors and side plates without screws.
• XLIGHT^® SNIPE ffeaturing extractors and an extraordinary combination of one rifled barrel (lower) and one smooth bore barrel with TECHNICHOKE^® (interchangeable chokes).

Even the woods used are of selected grain size for weight optimization: the XLIGHT models have exceptional weights among the lightest in the world and depending on the configuration they can reach approx. 2.5 kg for the 12 gauge and approx. 2.3 kg for the 20 gauge.

An over-and-under shotgun with a classic line created using the most modern technology. The shotguns of the Jubilee series are characterized by an elegant and refined style, with protruding profile actions, fret-worked top lever, golden crown on the top lever, a new Prince of Wales stock design and owl-beak wood fore-end, selected high-quality walnut with fine-pitch checkering and wood butt plate. The range of Jubilee models also includes configurations with side plates, called “Prestige”.
