The correct assembly of your shotgun

Dear friends, is your assembly method correct?

We are pleased to inform you that we recorded some short videos to show you the right way to mount – as already explained in our “owner manual” -, our over/under shotguns, side-by-side and Jubilee version over/under. Please be careful especially about the wood fore-end assembly and disassembly.
We are aware that everyone already pays all the due attention to these operations, but surely these videos can help you so to can avoid unpleasant disadvantages.

OVER/UNDER

After assembled the action with the barrel, having opened the top lever and making sure that the barrel has been correctly positioned in the action seat (and therefore the top lever has closed again), place the shotgun in a vertical position, resting the butt plate on a surface (so the shotgun must be vertical). Correctly and carefully, put the wood fore-end, complete with iron fore-end (ref. 230-229), in the appropriate seat created between the action and barrel (see video). Pull down the iron fore-end snap lever (button affixed on the front of the wood fore-end) and at the same time gracefully “guide” the wood fore-end to the barrel, then releasing the iron fore-end snap lever.
As for disassembly, see the procedure illustrated in the video, carefully releasing the wood fore-end by pulling down the iron fore-end snap lever (considering the vertical position of the shotgun), at this point the wood fore-end releases from the barrel.

SIDE-BY-SIDE

After assembled the action with the barrel, having opened the top lever and making sure that the barrel has been correctly positioned in the action seat (and therefore the top lever has closed again), place the shotgun in a vertical position, resting the butt plate on a surface (so the shotgun must be vertical). Correctly and carefully, put the wood fore-end, complete with iron fore-end (ref. 635-628), in the appropriate seat created between the action and barrel (see video). Push down the iron fore-end pump button (ref.627), which is the button affixed on the top of the wood fore-end and at the same time, gracefully “guide” the wood fore-end to the barrel, then releasing the iron fore-end pump button.
As for disassembly, see the procedure illustrated in the video, carefully releasing the wood fore-end by pushing down the iron fore-end pump button (considering the vertical position of the shotgun), at this point the wood fore-end releases from the barrel.

JUBILEE version OVER/UNDER

After assembled the action with the barrel, having opened the top lever and making sure that the barrel has been correctly positioned in the action seat (and therefore the top lever has closed again), place the shotgun in a vertical position, resting the butt plate on a surface (so the shotgun must be vertical). Correctly and carefully, put the wood fore-end, complete with iron fore-end (ref. 230-229P), in the appropriate seat created between the action and barrel (see video). Push down the release button iron fore-end snap lever (ref.276), which is the button affixed on the top of the wood fore-end and at the same time, gracefully “guide” the wood fore-end to the barrel, then releasing the release button iron fore-end snap lever.
As for disassembly, see the procedure illustrated in the video, carefully releasing the wood fore-end by pushing down the release button iron fore-end snap lever (considering the vertical position of the shotgun), at this point the wood fore-end releases from the barrel.

Be careful when you finished using the shotgun. Before storing it in a closed case, pay special attention to the fact that the shotgun must be dry and not wet (so it has not just fired, still hot, or wet for rain or condensation), as this can cause unpleasant damage to the shotgun and especially to the metal parts.

Enjoy your Shooting!
