Dear friends, are you curious to discover the production activity that characterizes the manufacture of F.A.I.R. products?
Starting from the mechanical department, our products are obtained with the use of high-performance numerical control machine. For example, the forged receivers are machined on the numerical control machines and the semi-finished piece is obtained from the forged piece.
Subsequently the action body, after the various processing phases, will be brought to the cleaning, engraving and surface treatment phase.
On the numerical controls all the mechanical workings of receivers, mono-blocs, iron fore-end and all the components such as hammers, sear levers, extractors (automatic and normal ones) are carried out. Once welded the barrels are machined for adjustment, creating housing for extractors and bore.
Then we move on to the processes carried out through manual work. In this phase the components of the mechanism are assembled and then we proceed to the actual assembly of the weapon: the one between the action and the barrel.
After this phase the products are brought to the Italian Proof House in Gardone Val Trompia to proceed with the various tests according to C.I.P. regulations and upon its return the weapon is completely assembled with the respective stocks.
After the steps taken at the Italian Proof House, each of our weapons is tested internally. On the express models, certification is carried out by means of a shot pattern test sheet in which two shots are fired at a distance of 50 meters.
As for the shot pattern, for smooth-bore products, the tests are normally performed with commercial minimization
Finally, the shotgun is ready for packaging and to be delivered to the lucky customer. What are you waiting for? Choose the right model for you!
